Dunburgh Wood

Dunburgh Wood is a five-bedroom house on the River Waveney in South Norfolk, sleeping up to 12 guests. Ground floor rooms include a living room with smart TV and French doors to the garden, a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and American fridge freezer, and a games room. First floor bedrooms are a mix: one super kingsize with sofa bed, two further super kingsize rooms, one with twin singles, and one with bunks. Three bathrooms and a separate toilet are distributed across the property, each with heated towel rails. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is oil central.

The garden is the main draw. A hot tub seats six on the terrace, which also has seating and a barbecue. Steps lead down to the River Waveney itself, where guests can swim, kayak or paddleboard directly from the property, or fish from the bank. The setting is rural—Dunburgh is a hamlet in Geldeston—yet the location offers easy access to the Norfolk Broads for boating and wildlife watching. The house works well for large family groups or friends gathering together. No smoking throughout.
