Beccles has independent shops and cafés worth an afternoon's exploration, and Laurel Lodge sits close enough to reach them on foot. The ground-floor lodge itself is built for comfort: a double bedroom, shower room, and open-plan kitchen and living space with a smart TV. Everything needed for self-catering is here, along with wi-fi, heating, and fresh bed linen and towels.
The real draw is outside. A private hot tub for four sits on the deck, alongside garden furniture and a firepit for cooler evenings. A gas barbecue is ready for cooking. The grounds are shared with other properties on the site, though the hot tub and parking spaces (room for two cars) are yours alone. The lodge itself feels more hotel than cottage—spa-inspired touches like fluffy robes and proper tea and coffee-making facilities are provided as standard.
A range of beauty treatments can be arranged during your stay. The property is adults-only, and there is an unfenced lake within the grounds. No smoking indoors.

Had a wonderful and relaxing day. starting at 10am we were welcomed by a lovely attentive member of the team called Julie She gave us all the information we needed and showed us around. Everything we needed was there including lovely soft dressing gowns. The hot tub was amazing, so relaxing. Sat in the garden, lots of comfortable seating options. My daughter had her hour and a half treatment which she said was amazing and then it was my turn which was fabulous, so relaxing. Then a lovely afternoon tea which we had sitting outside. Another rest and then another treatment for my daughter. The place was absolutely spotless and we were looked after so well. I have never been so relaxed for many years so was real treat. We will definitely go back and experience some more treatments. Thank you Julie, you were amazing

First visit for a spa day with treatment and afternoon tea. Setting was very tranquil. We had exclusive use of a hot tub, egg chair, loungers, dining table overlooking fields with only noise coming from wildlife. Treatments were 30 minutes and so relaxing i nearly fell asleep. Afternoon tea was fantastic...we even had to take some home as was too much for us to eat. We have been to a few other spa places around the country but none as peaceful and as good value for money as this. We were well looked after, and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

We have just got back from staying in Laurel Lodge for our Anniversary weekend. It was honestly spectacular. The views, peace and tranquility is just what we needed. The lodge was immaculate and furnished to such a high standard. Everything is thought of! The mattress and bedding is out of this world! We had the best two nights sleep we’ve ever had and are now purchasing the same mattress and bedding as it was honestly incredible! The photos do not do it justice as it exceeded our expectations. This is a must stay and we cannot wait to re-book! ❤️

What an amazing place! Orchard Spa Retreat is exactly that - a relaxing and calming retreat. I had a facial while on holiday in Suffolk and my skin looked and felt soft for many days afterwards thanks to Julie who was brilliant. I loved the venue which had great attention to detail like the outdoor relaxing area complete with throws and hot water bottles as it was a cold day! I would highly recommend it. A fabulously relaxing day.
