Jeffries Jungle

We booked 3 nights camping. Staff really helpful and welcoming.The showers and toilets were absolutely spotless, cleaned to a high standard every day. We did worry that there was no electric hookup but managed with a cool box and ice ( the weather was extremely hot). Charging points for phones by shop and the most beautiful spot to camp. Will definitely be back!

Amazing campsite, great customer service as soon as we arrived. Really liked that you can pitch up where ever you want and wasn’t told you had to pitch up in a certain place. Facilities were all clean and tidy and very accessible. And bonus having a lovely pub nearby which was walking distance.

This place is wonderful, perfect for cycling and walking, straight out the campsite and you are in the Forest. However, the real highlight is the kindness, helpfulness and empathy from the team. Both Michelle's and Dave (I hope that was his name - lovely Kiwi chap) were brilliant, they really went the extra mile, especially on the final day when we had a van issue. We came to stay at Ashurst for 1 night to trial camping with the kids, just to see if they liked it. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. They engaged with the kids too to make it fun for them. When we had questions they were gally to help and the customer service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
