About Premier Inn Southend Airport
Every room at Premier Inn Southend Airport comes with its own en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, a straightforward setup that works whether you're passing through for a night or staying longer. Across the hotel's three floors there are 106 rooms in total, served by a lift, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. Drinks can be brought to the room, and 24 hour reception means arrival times are never a problem.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for breakfast and evening meals, and free on-site parking is provided at the front and side of the building, useful given the hotel sits close to London Southend Airport. Guests travelling for a flight will find airport parking and transfer options included among the facilities.
Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers a handful of ways to fill spare time, from golf and fishing to horse riding and watersports, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and other entertainment. It's a practical base in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, geared towards easy comings and goings rather than a long resort-style stay.
Guests mention this hotel offers clean, spacious, and recently refurbished rooms with comfortable beds, and a good breakfast is available next door. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, convenient free parking, and quiet atmosphere despite being near the airport.
Some reviews mention there can be a lack of proper air conditioning.
