About Moore Manor Campsite

Tucked between Eryri National Park and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, this adults-only pop-up offers sweeping views and a proper back-to-basics escape. The vast, level field – lined with mature trees – welcomes tents, motorhomes and caravans on pick-your-own pitches, though facilities are minimal: a portable toilet, waste disposal and no mains electricity, so bring torches and come self-sufficient. What it lacks in mod cons it makes up for in space and serenity, with plenty of room for dogs to roam and a quirky converted double-decker bus providing indoor seating when the weather turns.

The setting is the real draw here – Eryri's peaks are half an hour away, the Clwydian hills just ten minutes, and Trefnant village (five minutes) stocks essentials plus a pub and chippy. Perfect for motorcycle tourers, budget campers or anyone craving a fuss-free pitch beneath big Welsh skies.

Stayed here to hide out in a heat wave. Great bargain site. No bus anymore that I could see anyway but has a static caravan that you can use for the lounge area, washing up and toilet. Has some statics there to hire by looks of it. Only saw host briefly but was lovely. Facilities are always clean. Seems to have a few seasonals that were friendly. Great price. Very basic. Would use again if in area.

Great little campsite, first one we have visited very impressed, great instructions and information via text, meet some great people, plenty of space around the tent pitch we had, will definitely return here really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend.

We have just had a lovely weekend by ourselves here. If you are looking for a good, quiet place. With some lovely views for a base then here is for you. We actually went and it was closed due to building work but Debbie allowed us to stay, with an on site toilet and washing area. That suited us fine and my missus and I had smiles on our faces all weekend. We had the place to ourselves apart from a couple of seasonal campers. Steve was a nice chap. Graeme was a big help too.

New, smelling fresh everywhere, despite the proximity to the airport, there's no airplane noise. The parking lot is spacious, and Germans get 50% off £20.
