What visitors say
Very sadly we have to say that this campsite was not at all what we were expecting. sadly after setting up at our grass electric standing pitch there was a huge rat, coming from underneath our campervan and it went off into the bushes near pitch 3. This was reported to the owners but nothing was done about it, (no rat traps were put down), the rat looked heavily pregnant and from experience they can have up to 20 in their litter and they can have between 5 & 7 litters a year, so my concern should have been dealt with. The pitch was not flat and we needed to use ramps every night. The showers & toilets were barely clean and were not cleaned every day, in fact I never saw them being cleaned the whole time we were there, which was a week. The toilet roll was renewed but the showers need a total overhaul, there was black mould on the bottom of the shower walls in most, if not all of the cubicles. The area for washing up dishes etc was absolutely filthy, it just hadn't been wiped down since the beginning of the season, as it was dust and debris from the roof and not from people using it. The area needed to be swept too. The area around the back of the toilets needed to be swept too there were leaves from the autumn there on the steps and these could be really slippery if it rained. The site seemed pretty run down to me, we didn't use the pool whilst we were, there but othes did. The facilities (cafe, games room, group room & pool table were provided) were good for young teenagers & families. The site is just 12 minutes away from St Helier so it is positioned really well. The cafe was open only from Thursday night to Sunday evening and it has a licensed bar too. It is closed all day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings. This is a very large site and on reflection we would not stay there again if we return to the Island. So, sadly we wouldn't recommend this campsite to other people that we know. I don't usually leave unpleasant reviews but felt I just had to this time.

I absolutely love this campsite. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful, it’s the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. I always look forward to coming back here.

Fantastic site. Everything you need in one place and very well maintained facilities, including the pool. Camp shop very well stocked and reasonably priced.

Very nice place, super friendly, at night little string lights make a fairytale feeling :-) Bathrooms clean and nice hot showers, concerts and other events, kitchen is open for "special orders". The restaurant could be a bit cozier. You only have WLAN near the reception/restaurant, that`s why it`s only 4 stars from me. The place is green, trees and shrubs, good facilities. Thank you Beuvelande-people! I had a good time
