⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a fantastic family stay here and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, everyone felt so welcome. The campsite is beautifully kept, with plenty of space, lovely surroundings, and a really peaceful atmosphere. The fishing was one of the highlights of our trip. It was so relaxing spending time by the water, and there were plenty of fish to keep us entertained. Seeing the excitement on the kids’ faces every time they got a bite was priceless. They absolutely loved every minute of it. There was plenty of space for the children to plqy safely, the park in the middle of the camping field was great I couldn’t get out little one off it. A big thank you to the owners, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. You can really see how much care and effort they put into there site If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly camping and fishing site where both adults and children can have an amazing time, this is the place to go. We’ve come home with some wonderful memories and booked to go back next weekend. Highly recommended!

Stayed here camping for 3 nights. Had a lovely stay. Hollie and staff was so friendly. We had breakfast twice in the cafe and it was very nice! Lovely peaceful and quiet. Loved that there was a park in the middle of the camping ground so the kids all played together. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

We had a lovely stay at Carnegie pools, we were so lucky to be the only ones on the site, Hollie was great, facilities were excellent. Great location for Cannock Chase, Shugborough. Would come back again

I am extremely disappointed at my stay here, the gent when we showed up, only car there. Paid the balance and got stuck in a queue when we come out, people taking their time getting sorted, 8 cars behind us. While we were waiting, the older gent came up to us and said "well, at least you aren't sitting at home. Like, we've paid £90 it's not free. Then, night one of staying, the water completely cut out, my daughter went in the shower, £1 for 5 minutes is ridiculous anyway. 30 seconds in she had soap in her hair standing in a cubicle. The older gent showed again, his comment useless "well you see my caravan there I've still got water". You are taking the pee, when my daughter is in a cubicle unable to wash. I've been in customer services for 10 years, that's not what you say! Not apology no reassurance it'll be sorted, nothing. Just a quick thank you to the family who offered her in their caravan shower to finish washing herself off, unfortunately they obviously had the same issue not realising, no water. I've called out of hours, no answer, other than a number on a paper map no direction of out of hours. I'll be honest though, Holly returned my call (which I missed) and she was out like a flash. She's the only saving grace here, and in no way should this shambles be placed on her. The next day shower and toilets out again, with a water issue. The portaloos, no toilet roll had to run back and get our own. We've now gone for a night walk, after a fishing event they held, and there are 3 dead fish (which we saw) This isn't ethical at all. See the rules, here they put up themselves, they do not check their fishers gear, because we had them check in when we were in paying our balance. Only, "you have to use our placed nets". It's a money making scheme without consideration for the wildlife. The place is a shambles. They dont do recycling as mandatory, and offer no cooling facilities for non EHU (It was fully booked) so I couldn't book it, but charging and food facilities wouldn't go a miss. £60 to hire a firepit when it's £10-15 else where. It was a last minute booking for bank holiday, but by choice I wouldn't come here again. Poor customer service, and unethical and environmental issues.
