Staffordshire Moorlands

Buxton sits at the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, surrounded by limestone hills and the Manifold Valley. Boosley Grange Cottage is a detached single-storey property on the owners' small farm, a private base for exploring the area on foot or by bike. The Manifold Trail runs nearby, and good walking country starts from the gate.
Inside there are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—a bathroom with bath and shower, and a combined living and dining space with a television and DVD player. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and all utilities. An enclosed patio with garden furniture looks out over the garden, and there is parking for one car on site. One dog is welcome.
The cottage suits families and couples looking for quiet countryside rather than town life. A pub and shop are three miles away in the village; Buxton itself, with its market and summer festival, is six miles north. Within half an hour's drive are Lyme Park, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and the caverns at Castleton. No smoking inside.
