Hillcrest House

Brown Edge sits on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands, with walking routes across open countryside and The Top Pub within reach on foot. Hillcrest House is a detached property accommodating up to 18 guests across six bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, plus a separate annexe with a seventh bedroom and kitchenette on the ground floor. The main house has space to spread across three storeys: a living area with woodburner and open-plan kitchen on the ground floor where the table seats groups comfortably; five further bedrooms above, split between the first and second floors.

The kitchen is equipped for serious cooking—electric and gas hobs, two ovens, two microwaves, two dishwashers—while a utility room houses two washing machines and a tumble dryer. The enclosed garden with patio and terrace gives outdoor space to sit, and there's parking for eight cars on site. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. The annexe suits guests who prefer ground-floor access or separate living quarters. No smoking is permitted throughout.

This works for extended families, groups of friends or multi-generational gatherings who want the run of a whole property with enough bathrooms that nobody waits. It's a base for exploring the moorlands on foot or by car, or simply a place where a large group can be together under one roof.
