The Farmhouse at Gradbach
Staffordshire Moorlands
Groups of up to 16 need space to spread out without feeling cramped. The Farmhouse at Gradbach delivers that in abundance—seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, all en-suite, positioned across two floors so there's genuine separation between different parties. Three bedrooms hold doubles, four hold pairs of singles, and two combine both. Each has a TV. Downstairs, the oak-beamed lounge opens onto the garden; the dining room and kitchen sit nearby. The kitchen has a range cooker, dishwasher and microwave, so cooking for a crowd is manageable. A games room with table football occupies the first floor, and there's a drying room on the ground floor—useful when children and adults are coming and going.
The setting matters as much as the space. Sixteen acres of woodland surround the property, which stands on the banks of the River Dane in Gradbach hamlet, within the Peak District National Park boundary. A private hot tub accommodates eight to ten people. The garden is large, lawned, and furnished with seating and a charcoal barbecue. Parking is on site. Wifi, bed linen, towels and heating are all included. The property sits at 1 step to the entrance; note that there is 1 step within the grounds and an unfenced river running through the land. No smoking throughout.
