About Thriftwood Country Park
Thriftwood Country Park makes a capable base for exploring the Kent countryside around Sevenoaks, with a swimming pool that's a particular hit with families after a day out. The site welcomes dogs and offers electric hook-ups across its pitches, plus all the expected facilities including showers and drinking water for motorhomes. Open year-round, it suits those who prefer off-season touring when the grounds feel more spacious.
Some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places, though the straightforward, no-frills approach appeals to campers who'd rather spend their time exploring the nearby North Downs than fussing over glamping extras. Worth knowing there's no WiFi, so it's a proper digital detox whether you planned one or not.

What visitors say
Lovely touring site set inside a resident holiday lodge site. The site was lovely and quiet with all campers and residents being really respectful. The pitches were a good sized hardstanding and we're fully serviced. On site the toilets and showers were very modern and cleaned to a really good standard. The added bonus here was the outside pool, fully heated and kept clean. The vibe on site was very calm, friendly and inclusive. We had a drink at Sam's bar on site, no dogs allowed inside but there's bench seating outside, all the regulars were very chatty and friendly. We cannot recommend this site highly enough, from staff to residents it was superb. Dog friendly site with lovely walks both on site and in the area.

Just had 4 days at Thriftwood country Park. We were originally booked in for 3 but stayed an extra night. Well where do you start the reception is ultra modern as is the shower block & toilets showers at a great constant temperature. The pool was just fantastic and maintained approximately 27 degrees all the time. The site was spotlessly clean as were the toilets and showers. All the staff on site were fantastic as were the residents whom we met during our stay, nothing to much trouble. Bar on site “Sam’s” again very modern very well maintained and barman was very pleasant. We were even invited to play in the residents fun darts match that evening. We were made to feel very welcome. We were advised of current work on static homes prior to booking so there was no issue with that. There are also motorway maintenance crews living on site but everyone we said hello to we’re very nice and not sn issue at all. Plenty of places to visit and some great eateries all around. One downside is there are not many touring pitches for short term stays but if your one of the lucky people who managed to get a reservation then we’ll done. We’re going to try and come back next season for another stay. If you read this folks it’s £35 a night but you’re getting the best facilities here.

Brilliant site. Lovely dog walks onsite, woods or a field. Showers were nice. Lovely places to eat a short drive away. Would be 5 stars if had a laundry facilities, or were to be slightly cheaper for out of season. Will definitely return.

Just back from an 4 day break which turned into a 8 day break. Mark was really helpful when we were trying to set up and along with a few fellow campers and staff they managed to get us pitched correctly in no time - nothing seems to much bother for them. I asked to stay on extra nights and Billy at reception went out of his way to sort my extra nights and I didn't have to move pitch. Visited this site many times over the last 7 years, started in a tent and progressed to a hard top folding camper and now our beloved Hobby caravan. The site really is immaculate, they focus on every detail. Pitches are quite large, shower blocks are fantastic, possibly the best we've used, always clean. Staff are very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, nothing too much trouble. I was there on my own for most of my visit, the owners kept their eye out on me, i felt relaxed and safe in the secure environment. They are constantly improving the site as we have witnessed over the years. The long termers are friendly and welcoming to tourers. Perfectly located with shops and pubs, beautiful surrounding areas. Booked up to return before we left ! Thanks Thriftwood team.
