About Lucy's Barn
Lucy's Barn occupies a peaceful rural pocket of Kent, offering a well-maintained base for exploring Brands Hatch, Bewl Water and the surrounding countryside. The site keeps things simple but tidy, with electric hook-ups, clean shower and toilet blocks, and WiFi to keep everyone connected. Families and dog owners are both welcome, and the rural setting means plenty of space for four-legged friends to stretch their legs.
While some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch basic compared to larger parks, the trade-off is a quieter, more low-key atmosphere. It's a solid, no-nonsense choice if you're touring Kent and want somewhere straightforward and sensibly priced to pitch up for a few nights.

What visitors say
Toilets were dreadful dirty and they blocked up on average twice a day I had to keep flushing them to try and unblock them. The toilets are in the same room as the showers so if somebody was showering you could not use the toilets and only two were in use the other two were out of order . The shower rooms were quite often flooded so the toilet roll on the floor was also very wet., because the toilet rolls were too large to go into the holder. The rubbish bin was locked, so we could not put our black sacks in it so the foxes tore them open so there was rubbish scattered about with no groundsman in a attendance to clear it up. There was no receptionist or manager on site, either while we were there for 6 days . There were seperate toilets a long row of them but they were all closed. The two washing up sinks only one had water to it and the other had rubbish in it and was filthy.

What a lovely little site. Currently staying here with the all the family. The field is huge and the children can run and play and have been flying kites Facilities are clean but basic what you expect for camping. Run by lovely people who are continuing to improve on the facilitiesl Will definitely be back again.

Love this place. Returned and will keep coming back. The people who run it are lovely and couldnt be any more helpful. Saw a bad review on here about the cleanliness of the shower and toilets. Shes there at least 3 times a day cleaning.she cant go in after everyone to clean thats ridiculous.you cant stop people walking grass in.🙄

Excellent camp site. Basic and very quiet. Easy access from M20. Shower and toilets cleaned twice a day. Owners very helpful. Would highly recommend if you are wanting a quiet shor or long stay. Absolutely perfect if visiting Brands hatch, a 6 min drive away.
