Hotels in Stelling Minnis itself are limited, as this is a small village of under 600 people built around a common rather than a tourist centre, so most visitors looking for a proper hotel stay base themselves in nearby Canterbury, around 8 miles to the north. Canterbury has a good range of options, from independent guesthouses and boutique hotels close to the cathedral to larger chain hotels on the edges of the city, and it puts you within easy reach not just of Stelling Minnis and Davison's Mill but of the whole Kent Downs area and the Elham Valley villages to the south.
