What visitors say
Great Leisure center. We had a family morning out. We had never been there before but both my boys aged 8 and 5 enjoyed it! There's a wave pool, lazy river and a couple of slides. The blue slide is nice and steady! There's a little kids water play area. The changing rooms are good too. Toilets and showers work well. Clean. Lockers available with returnable £1 coin. Hair dryers work well and actually good hair dryers unlike most places! Parking is available in Tesco's nearby for 2 hours. Don't go over the time it's automatic fine as per the staffs advice. Overall a great morning out. We paid £25 ISH for four of us. Kids really enjoyed it.

They had a young, teenage girl complain of being inappropriately touched by a group of male men. A group of male men that attended this ‘public session’ with not a single child. I understand the term ‘public session’ but at who’s expense? Our children? Our daughters can’t even go swimming without being molested by a group of grown men attending a CHILDRENS pool. The staff stood at the side with the girl, losing out on her time, whilst those grown men carried on staring at young girls; whilst these grown men ‘played’ in the rapids. Absolutely appalling experience. They should have got everybody out of the pool and had them removed by the police. Not waited for the session to end to have the police deal with it. It comes to something when you can’t even feel safe in a swimming pool anymore. A pool with slides, which no swimming can actually be done in this pool, should not be advocating a group of grown men entering it. Do better.

Appalling discrimination and unprofessional staff! I am deeply traumatised by how my family was treated here. I previously used this exact pool on Monday wearing my professional, non-cotton modest swimwear with no issues at all. Yet on Friday, the poolside staff/lifeguards and the duty manager refused to let us in, claiming my outfit was "unsafe." I was refused entry despite the fact that another customer was allowed into the pool wearing a mesh dress. Furthermore, I had already been admitted to this exact pool on Monday in the very same swimwear, and I have used this exact outfit multiple times at the Dudley pool, which is run by the same company. When we cried and pleaded for the sake of our waiting children, these specific staff members smirked and laughed right in our faces. This triggered a severe panic attack, and I was forced to run to Tesco in tears to buy alternative, ill-fitting clothing just so my children wouldn't have their day ruined. I had to break my cultural traditions and felt deeply uncomfortable and judged the entire time. Absolute double standards and zero empathy from the lifeguards and managers on duty. Avoid this place if you don’t want be discriminated!!

This place is a joke. I went in with my 8YEAR OLD little cousin for swimming and was denied because it was a “family session” because i wasn’t over 18. and then when we returned for the public session i was told we were not aloud to use are swimming passes because there wasn’t an 18year old with us and had to pay the full fee. Very disappointed is an understatement. It’s disgusting how much they scam people. The front desk are also extremely rude and look at you like you are stupid for complaining. This used to be a great place to go in the school holidays for me and my cousin now it’s just money scamming.

This leisure center is praised for its fun slides, waves, and rapids that kids like, along with its friendly and helpful staff.
Other reviews mention the changing rooms can be neglected and the pool area can be poorly maintained.
