What visitors say

Domas Jackevicius

A truly fantastic site We visited Mill Hill Farm today and it's honestly one of the best campsites I've ever been to. I'm fairly new to campervanning, but this place sets a high bar. The site feels both spacious and cosy at the same time. There's loads of room for the kids to run around, and everything is nicely divided into separate zones and fields, so it never feels crowded. Every path you wander down feels like a little adventure. The pitches themselves are excellent — generously sized, nicely level, and with plenty of space. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The facilities, though — that's where Mill Hill Farm really shines. The toilets, showers, and waste disposal areas are absolutely spotless and clearly well looked after. Gordon Ramsay could cook dinner in the facilities block and have nothing to complain about! It's the small touches that really stand out: a step for little ones to reach the sinks, clear signs showing walking times between different areas, and countless other thoughtful details that show the owners genuinely care about the place and the people staying there. As a visitor, that's the best feeling you can have. Highly recommended — we'll definitely be back.

Just come back from a bank holiday weekend stay in one of your camping pods. Absolutely spotless and clean and a beautiful location by the lakes, nice little touches such as the fire wood already there, washing up liquid and scourers and so nice and clean. The staff in reception were very accommodating and friendly as soon as we arrived which always makes a great impression. A very peaceful well looked after camping site. This is the 2nd time we have been here, first time we were tenting and still had a great experience. Will most definitely come back again.

Very generous pitches, grass well cut and picked up so no grass in the tent. The site is broken up by hedges making it private albeit they would benefit from a cut. Washing up facilities are spotless. Showers rather dated but kept clean.

When you arrive you are not just told where to set up but taken to you your pitch. Quiet big pitches and the shower block is clean with endless hot water.
