What visitors say
We booked two adjacent pitches for a four night stay with friends. Maria and Guy have put a lot of thought into what the perfect campsite would look like, and I think they have achieved it. The pitch sizes are very generous, and facilities are spotless (without being closed for an hour each day for cleaning). The games barn, children’s play area and the go-karts are great. All of our group enjoyed these. They even put a screen up to show the World Cup Final for those who were interested. The only thing which may have improved our stay would have been access to WiFi. All of us had poor phone reception, so having WiFi access would have made it easier to look up local attractions, book days out. However, this was lt enough to impact our holiday.. in some ways it was nice to be away from scrolling! We will definitely make a return visit to this site.

We had a lovely 1 night stay at The Croft. It was our first night away in our Motorhome and it was a last minute decision to go. The owners, Guy & Maria kindly let us borrow a cable to power our motorhome. They were also very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were spotless and the campsite was well maintained. We will definitely return. 🚍

Super family‑orientated campsite, especially for families with younger children. The Friday night BBQ was really good and excellent value for money. The gaming barn and the various facilities for younger children were excellent, and the toilet, shower and washing‑up areas were all very clean and well maintained. A couple of minor points to be aware of: We had booked two bags of firewood. One was delivered to our pitch, but the second didn’t arrive. We went out for a long walk and returned after reception had closed, so we were left without a fire on our second night. Not a major issue, but if you book multiple bags it’s worth checking they’re all delivered when you arrive. Cars are allowed on the pitching area, which does mean you occasionally hear car doors closing late in the evening or early in the morning. It didn’t spoil our stay, just something to note. There was also an occasional smell of sewage. It was noticeable at times but not strong enough to affect the overall experience. Overall, it’s a lovely site with great facilities for families, and we still had a really enjoyable stay.

We had another fantastic stay at Croft Campsite in Suffolk. Maria and Guy are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. The Friday night BBQ was an absolute lifesaver after arriving for a weekend trip — such a great touch and really appreciated (and sometimes there are seconds!). The site is well looked after and in a good location close to the coast. The dog area was also really good and gave our dog space to enjoy off lead. One small thing — the gate wasn’t latching properly (sorry Guy and Maria, I should have mentioned it during our stay!), but I’ve no doubt it’ll be sorted quickly given how superbly the site is run. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back, again!
