Riverside Camping and Caravan Park
Gower, Swansea
Sheltered, wooded riverside site at Parkmill, a short walk from Three Cliffs Bay
About Riverside Camping and Caravan Park
Riverside Camping and Caravan Park sits in a wooded valley at Parkmill, on the banks of the stream that runs down to Three Cliffs Bay, giving it a more sheltered feel than the clifftop sites nearby. The setting is green and shaded rather than open and coastal, which makes it a comfortable option in poor weather when more exposed Gower sites can feel bleak.
The park takes tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with hook-up pitches available and a shop and shower block on site, and its position right in Parkmill village means a pub, tea rooms and a small heritage centre are all within easy walking distance without needing the car. The Gower Heritage Centre, with its working watermill, is directly adjacent to the site.
From the site, footpaths lead directly to Three Cliffs Bay and along the valley, making it one of the more walkable bases on Gower for reaching the beach without driving and searching for parking. Dogs are welcome throughout, and the central Parkmill location puts both the southern beaches and the villages further west within a short drive, making it a practical choice for a first visit to the peninsula.
