Hinton Manor is a Grade II listed country house dating back to the 17th century, standing near St Swithun's Church in the Cemetery area of Swindon. The building retains substantial original character—oak panelling, stone fireplaces, leaded windows and traditional shutters feature throughout—but has been updated for contemporary comfort. The whole property is yours alone, making it suitable for large family gatherings, celebrations or group holidays.
Across four floors, six bedrooms accommodate 14 guests: most feature zip-and-link beds that convert between kingsize and twin configurations, and five rooms have ensuite bathrooms with either bath or walk-in shower. Two further bathrooms serve the remaining spaces. The ground floor contains two living areas (one with woodburner, one with open fire), a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen with Aga, electric oven and hob, plus utility facilities. A second reception room and dining area occupy the first floor. Parking for up to 10 cars sits on site. Essentials including bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are covered; you can order fuel for the fires in advance.
The wrap-around gardens include a tennis court. No smoking is permitted inside. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
