Ilsington View

Ilsington is a small village on the northern edge of Dartmoor, far enough from the main roads to feel genuinely remote yet close enough to the A38 for practical access. Ilsington View sits here as a single-storey property, all on ground level, with private parking and a shared garden courtyard. The open-plan living space contains a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine, a dining area, and a sitting room with a 40-inch smart TV. Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a king bed, one with two singles. The bathroom has both a bath and a walk-in shower.

Everything needed for self-catering is provided—electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. The cottage stays warm via underfloor heating. One dog is welcome and stays free, though sheep graze nearby so pets must be kept on a lead. Smoking is not permitted. A pub and village shops lie within a mile's walk. Hay Tor, the best-known summit on Dartmoor, is 2 miles away with marked walking and cycling routes; the Miniature Pony Centre is 9 miles further south, and a local riding centre 5 miles off. The coast is 13 miles away.
