Bagtor Hayloft

Bagtor Hayloft is a converted farm building on a working beef farm in the heart of Dartmoor, positioned for immediate access to the moor itself. The location suits walkers, cyclists and riders especially—trails begin at the door, and the farm's private land offers off-road riding where Dartmoor ponies roam freely. Exeter is 30 minutes by car if you want Crealy Theme Park; Plymouth's Aquarium is 40 minutes away. A shop, pub and restaurant are 2 miles off, and the coast sits 15 miles south.

The hayloft itself contains two bedrooms upstairs—one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles—and a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs are the living room with woodburner and Freeview, plus a kitchen/dining space with electric oven, induction hob, microwave and washing machine. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The property has its own water supply drawn from a spring. One small dog stays free, and the garden has a patio with furniture; private parking for two cars is on site. Stabling and grazing for horses are available at extra cost. Note that the stairs are steep and spiral, and no smoking is permitted.
