What visitors say
I loved the history behind this house, how it was saved and preserved. There is a lot to see for such a small house. Great guides who are very knowledgeable. A lovely local visitor attraction if you are in York.

A perfect little diversion, this Tudor house is tucked down a small street in Tenby. Great staff and lots of informative signage about how middle class people of the age would have lived. More than worth popping in if you are in the area, especially if you are a NT member.

I loved my visit! I thought the £7 was steep at first and was a bit hesitant but I defo thought it was worth it. If you are interested in the past and history generally this is the place for you. The volunteers are so friendly and know a lot about the history!! It makes you think about some of the words we use today and where those words came from. I loved learning about the lives of the people during the Tudor times like what they ate, why, superstitions, habits and how expensive certain items were. Ask questions if you can and if you have time because it gives them the opportunity to go beyond the talk and share extra bits of history you wouldn't expect! Shout out to the guys who spoke about the history (sorry forgot your names!). Had a fab time ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic Tudor house, there are lots of information boards throughout the house. The house is very interesting and the small garden at the rear is very nice. There is no parking available onsite and there is no toilet. I would recommend visiting if you are passing through the town. The views out towards the harbour is amazing. It’s nice to have a glimpse of the past, the stonework on the outside of the house is beautiful.
