Dirty, Dusty & Damp. Don't visit this site! It's a, we'll take the customer's money not fulfil the customer promise. Great concept that fails to deliver. This site could be a jewel of the local area. Site is very overgrown and not looked after. Flowerbeds and hedgerows not maintained. Stayed in Airbus conversion. Unfortunately a long list of negatives very much outweighs the positives. - Access for car into Airbus very tight - no welcome pack (dated video sent) - flowerbeds and surrounding area VERY overgrown - Fire pit littered with rubbish from previous user/s - hot tub shelter contained lots of webs inside and not tidy within - Main Access door on left of accommodation doesn't secure leaving personal effects inside exposed - Damp, dusty, unclean and untidy within - Toilet moves when you sit on it - no fire protection or systems within - Outside furniture dirty and at point of breaking - internal freestanding fan provided has lots of dust on it - Provided bed covers smelt Damp. - Mould buildup on silicon sealed edges - Not all internal LED lighting works properly Positives - Beds are comfortable - Hot tub works - Great location Again it is a real shame this company does not live upto expectations. It's apparent they are aware of customer feedback as they are very easy to find online and they comment back, yet chooses not to act upon this. This trip was booked for a surprise for my son, as a 2 part trip away, traveling over 5 hours to arrive. However I very much look forward to leaving and going to our next destination. It wouldn't surprise me based on recent reviews that this complex/site ceases to exist for much longer if it was based on this alone. Very disappointing and won't be booking again.

‘ Luxury ‘ igloo dome Upon arrival we were really excited, but unfortunately we were quickly disappointed. As soon as we walked in, the smell of damp/mould was overwhelming. Looking around, the dome was clearly dirty, with cobwebs, dirt, mould and heavy condensation throughout we didn’t see the severity of the mould yet. Ants were crawling over the bed. The fire pit wasn’t stated anywhere that it is a shared fire pit which was full of empty alcoholic bottles from the night before. We contacted Jacob, who did arrange for cleaners to come out, which we appreciated. However, the cleaners were quite rude, and after they left nobody checked back in with us to see if the issues had been resolved. We didn’t hear from him again for the rest of our stay. The site itself is actually lovely and there are plenty of activities for children, including football goals, Connect 4 and other outdoor games, which the kids enjoyed. Unfortunately, because of the smell and conditions inside the dome, we tried to spend as much time outside as possible. It become quite hot on the last day but we was unable to use the fan due to a ton of dust as shown in the pictures. They had covered up broken floor boards with a wooden board and covered it with a rug. After our first night, we spent the day out at Heatherton and returned around 5pm. By 8:30pm, my daughter needed her rescue inhaler, which is something she rarely requires. I then inspected the dome more closely and was shocked by the amount of mould and condensation present. It was honestly concerning. By that point I had already taken medication that made me unsafe to drive, so we had no option but to stay the night. I kept the door open as long as possible and stayed awake most of the night monitoring my daughter’s breathing and symptoms. We left first thing the following morning. Sadly, we won’t be returning. Especially for what they charge we paid £150 per night. The conditions were unacceptable and the lack of support from staff was very disappointing. The photos speak for themselves, don’t waste your money.

Stayed at apple camping this week in the Airbus. Extremely disappointed to be honest considering the cost for one night. Found it very impersonal the morning of received a video via watsapp from owners showing us around the Airbus. During our stay had no contact face to face. On arrival no welcome pack just two packs of biscuits on side counter. Grass around the Airbus extremely long where all the other pods grass was well kept tidy. Mats on the floor outside door looked scruffy. Roof of the Airbus could have done with a good pressure wash. Decking area needed a good clean decking was green. Table on the decking had seen its days was broken. Inside plane the large heater inside plug was brown and socket on left side of plane by bed was extremely hot to touch and you had to keep pushing the socket for the heater to work. Light inside the toilet wasn’t working. My son wanted to go into shop in the morning before we left but wasn’t open I texted owner but by time they replied we had left so my son couldn’t get the things he wanted from there.

We booked a stay as a surprise for my little boys 9th birthday after seeing videos on TikTok. I opted for the jet star because he absolutely loves planes and it has a cockpit. It’s a contactless welcome so you get a video how to park and how to enter your booked accommodation. We found it a little hard to find the carpark but we found it in the end not a big issue. For one night I paid £225 saved up over a year for it knowing he would absolutely love it, I had my welcome pack come a couple of weeks before the trip and saw they did a birthday package balloons, banners and a cake £40 now, we were going to decorate ourselves when we got there but my partner said for his birthday we’d pay the £40 expecting it to be an amazing surprise. Anyway I drove 3 and a half hours and then we spent the day in Tenby because it’s only 12 minutes away. We got to Apple camping blindfolded our son and off we went to the Jetstar. Outside the jet we took off the blind fold he was absolutely over the moon and ran off inside to be greeted with 6 balloons, 3 reused and torn banners.. and a small cake that costs no more than £4- £5 4 birthday candles and a box of matches in the fridge outside in the private kitchen. Disappointed was an understatement. That’s not what I thought £40 would get us. The jet itself is impressive and honestly with a bit of TLC could be amazing! However the cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. Above the bed is plastic greenery which was covered in dust, there was a stain on the carpet by the bed (nothing major but a spot cleaner would have got that up in no time) The mattress under the bed for the side seats in the cabin wasn’t very clean at all covered in hair and dirt so we didn’t use it. Inside the cabin we found some cobwebs and a dead spider. Not the worst but for the price I expected a certain standard of cleanliness like I would if I paid £225 for a hotel room. Yes there is a smell of damp but we were fine with it. It was a hot day, very humid and in the TikTok videos the owners open the cabin door at the front we tried to open it because it was absolutely boiling in the cockpit but was unable to open it, no windows in the cockpit open either and because the jet was so hot apart from the bedroom, we spent most of our time outside. We searched for an hour for the pull down table between the seats but couldn’t find it. The outside kitchen was fine too the fridge needs a good clean and the cupboards with the cutlery in also needs to be cleaned out as there were cobwebs and bugs but we didn’t mind it’s a part of glamping. We didn’t have any hot water but I just boiled the kettle to wash up however the morning of check out around 10am I went to wash up to find there was no electricity in the kitchen so had to leave all the washing up. We didn’t mind using the toilet on the Jet it was fine for us. Outside there are some games for families to play which is a nice touch and dogs are welcome. The communal showers are ok we were fine with them even though I’ve seen previous comments we were ok with them. The shop wasn’t open but we didn’t check in until around 5.30pm. It does state when you book to take your own towels which we did. I’m not one to complain but for the price I just expected a certain standard and for the birthday package price ALOT more effort was needed and expected. It was just daylight robbery and the more I think about it the angrier I feel and I just hope that either it improves for others or people just bring their own, even my family members were disgusted and just upset us that we thought a lot more effort would have gone into it. As I say it could be absolutely magical with a bit of TLC and I just don’t want other people to book extra packages expecting it to be more than it was.
