Platform One

The Dartmouth Steam Railway runs past Platform One, so you can watch the locomotives from your window—the main draw of staying here. The apartment sits on the edge of Youngs Park near Goodrington, within walking distance of the sandy beach and Goodrington Station. Paignton town centre is fifteen minutes on foot, and Torquay is nearby for a larger day out.

This ground floor space has an open plan living, kitchen and dining area with views across the railway line. There is one double bedroom, a bathroom with shower over the bath, and an enclosed patio with garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Wi-Fi is provided, along with bed linen and towels. One car parking space is allocated on site. Smoking is not permitted.

Goodrington has local shops, cafés and restaurants. Splashdown at Quaywest Waterpark, with water flumes and heated pools, is in the area. Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village and Living Coasts are all a short drive away. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and the property can accommodate a cot and highchair if needed.
