What an amazing place, nature lovers paradise. The host, Mark is so attentive and just lovely. He checked in with us every day and nothing would be too much trouble. Hot rolls and croissants on the first day very much appreciated. Fishing was great too. Will definately be returning, we stayed in 'Carp' which was in a lovely private position. Private facilities a short walk from the hut. Slept so well, must be all that fresh air!

Great getaway from the hub-bub of life for a short stay in peaceful surroundings among natural wildlife settings, fish ponds and plenty of wildfowl including Canada Geese, Greylags and fresh water fishing. Accommodation in quirky converted huts with all the basic utilities, very cosy and comfortable. Shopping nearby (approx 10 mins) at Crowborough, or further to Royal Tunbridge Wells worth a visit.

Our first time at this fishery and we had a wonderful weekend,the Sheppard hut was clean ,snug with the log burner which made for cosy nights. Perfect surroundings, peaceful and great fishing. Thanks to Mark for the great hospitality and will are already looking forward to our next visit .

We spent two nights at Hastingford Fishery in the Roach shepherd’s hut and had a truly wonderful stay. It’s a peaceful sanctuary, perfect for unwinding. Geraldine and Mark were incredibly kind and thoughtful—outstanding hosts. The hut was spotless and well-equipped, with a smart TV, WiFi, a log burner, fire pit, BBQ, and everything needed for cooking. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the swimming lake was a real bonus. Surrounded by nature, we spotted countless birds. Highly recommended—thank you, Geraldine and Mark, for your amazing hospitality!
