From the moment we booked, we knew we were in good hands. We received up to date emails regarding our stay with detailed directions on how to arrive safe & sound. We stayed in Pear Tree Cabin & it was gorgeous!! It was spacious, clean, warm & cosy. We were welcomed with a congratulations banner in the cabin along with a bottle of lovely Australian wine to celebrate our honeymoon. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals, with a local supermarket nearby to grab groceries. The property was incredibly peaceful & picturesque, a perfect place to rest & relax. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic!! There are gorgeous & friendly alpacas on the property along with some farm cats. We watched the sunsets of the evenings & the skies were like a painting. Louise & Andrew, the owners & builders, are genuinely lovely people & happy to recommend places to see & eat. The wood fire in the cabin added to the tranquillity. We would highly recommend & encourage anyone to stay at Newland Valley Log Cabins.

We have stayed at Newlands Valley Log Cabins twice now and we plan to revisit again this year. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating and we have had many lovely chats with them. One of the highlights for us has been the alpacas onsite and getting the opportunity to feed them. The accommodation is fantastic with all of the amenities you need. Any extras eg food drinks there are shops a 2 minute drive away. We love the feel inside the cabins as they are authentic hand built log cabins and they are extremely comfortable and cosy. We visited just after Christmas and were treated to a Christmas tree and decorations inside the cabin which added to our stay. We will definitely be back again. Would definitely recommend for a stay in the Lake District.

We stayed in the Guardswood cabin, and it was excellent. All amenities attended to, really comfortable, and the log fire was definitely used, which made the room even cosier. Great hosts and kept us informed all along the way. A super place to stay, very quiet, plenty of parking and a stunning area to visit.

We recently spent 4 nights in Pear Tree Cabin and had a wonderful time. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Due to bad weather we didn't venture far but we also didn't feel we needed to, the scenery is lovely and we had nice walks from the cabin. Ulverston is just a 5 minute drive away and had a lot to offer and we found a lovely village pub for a birthday meal. We will definitely return!
