Couples and small families will find May Tree Cottage works well as a self-contained base. The barn conversion sits on the grounds of Penyrheol Farm in the Vale of Glamorgan countryside, a few miles from Tenby. Everything is on a single storey: an open-plan living and dining space with dual-aspect windows, a kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, two bedrooms (one double, one with bunk beds), and a bathroom with both bath and shower. You have the run of the cottage entirely to yourself, plus use of the 12 acres of land around the farm.
The property comes with essentials covered—bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included. Outside, there's a patio with seating and a BBQ, and off-road parking for two cars. One dog is welcome (a heated kennel is available). The open-plan layout and ground-floor access suit different mobility needs. Tenby Golf Club is the nearest landmark, though the village of Llysworney and the wider Vale of Glamorgan are close by for exploring. No smoking inside.

What guests say
This is an incredible house to stay in. Fully equipped so all you need is yourself and your clothes. Fantastic location with south beach so close. Tenby town is five minutes walk away with a supermarket also just up the road. Despite its great location the area is lovely and quiet with no through road out front. The house itself is spotless and really comfortable. Would highly recommend to everyone. Ideal for families or even just two people and a dog.
