What visitors say
Got to be one of the best blue flag sandy beaches on the east coast. Great day out with the kids can be had as it was when I was a kid. Highly recommend, plenty of parking and things to do including the pier.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Walton-on-the-Naze is an absolute gem and a true slice of nostalgic heaven. Visiting again recently brought back so many fond childhood memories – and the best part is, it hasn’t changed much at all. There’s something so comforting about a place that holds onto its charm and simplicity. The beach is still as beautiful as ever – long stretches of soft golden sand, clean and quiet, perfect for a peaceful walk or a family day out. It’s the kind of beach where time slows down, and the worries of the world seem to fade with the tide. It’s everything you’d hope for in a classic, old-school English seaside town. The amusements are still buzzing with that retro magic, and no visit would be complete without a cone of ice cream, a stick of rock, and, of course, proper fish and chips by the sea. Walton-on-the-Naze is like stepping into a postcard from the past, in the best possible way. If you’re looking for a seaside escape that’s unspoiled, full of character, and packed with timeless charm – this is it. What more could you want? 🏖️🇬🇧.

Great place to visit. Lots to see and do, including a long pier which is nice to walk up. The arcade games on the pier make this place feel like a classic British beach town, which it is. Plenty of fish and chip shop places dotted around and Ice-cream! The huts are in excellent condition. Way better than Mersea Island just down the road. It’s definitely worth a trip to see it and spend a few hours looking around. Very relaxing and enjoyable, especially if the sun is out.

BEAUTIFUL sandy beach at low tides. I took very nice photos and videos for you to see. I would definitely recommend this beach. The pier legs create a special environment at low tides. There is plenty of paid and free parking around.
