School Hill House

School Hill House is a 15th-century building that has been fitted with modern essentials without losing its period character. Two bedrooms occupy the first and second floors—one with a double bed, the other a three-quarter double suitable for one adult—and two bathrooms serve the property. The ground floor holds a living and dining room with a woodburner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; there is parking for two cars on site.

The living room has no television, encouraging a quieter kind of break. Beyond the back garden, which has a patio, furniture and barbecue, lies the wider landscape around Lewes.
