Keeper's Cottage is a detached stone cottage set within 130 acres of working farmland in Wealden. The property sits at the end of a half-mile gated track and forms part of the owner's rural estate, where you'll find free-roaming birds, woodland, a lake and farm animals. The cottage itself dates back generations and retains a distinctly retro character throughout, with vintage décor and eclectic furnishings that give it genuine personality.
Inside, there are two bedrooms (one double, one single with a futon), a bathroom with both bath and shower, and a separate toilet. Downstairs you'll find a living room with a woodburner, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and the usual appliances. A utility room in an adjoining outbuilding has a washer-dryer. Heating is oil-fired with generator backup, and Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Initial logs for the fire come with your stay. One dog is welcome at no extra cost, though it must be kept on a lead as this is a working farm. There's parking for four cars on site. The cottage sleeps four and is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.
No smoking is permitted inside.
