Bull Cottage is a medieval cottage that can be found in Burford, Oxfordshire. The property dates back to the 14th century. A fine example of the era, it retains many of the original features which are still present to this day, including the arches, exposed beams, flagstone floors and fireplaces and are over 600 years old. They are missed with the modern furnishings to make this property as comfortable and homely as possible. Downstairs has an open-plan living room with a wood burning stove, dining area, as well as a fitted kitchen. Upstairs you will find a king-size bedroom, a superking bedroom (zip/link - can be made as 2 singles on request) and a twin bedroom. There is a ground and first floor shower room and WC. There is a courtyard garden area to the rear of the property with a bench and a table and chairs. Roadside parking is available. Please note an initial supply of logs & kindling is provided for the property between October until end of March; additional log supplies can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent and 2 hair dryers. South facing courtyard garden to the rear with bench, table and chairs. Cot and highchair available. Parking is on-street and limited on Witney Street, we would therefore advise to park on side roads. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 0.1 miles. Note: This property requires a refundable Good House Keeping Bond prior to arrival.
