Jackdaw Cottage is a semi-detached stone cottage in Baycliff, a village within reach of Ulverston's market and the South Lakes' walking routes. The building has character typical of the area, with period features including a multi-fuel burner in the living room and narrow stairs connecting its two floors. It's a complete property to yourself, with parking for one car on site and an enclosed lawned garden offering a sheltered outdoor space.
Inside, you have two bedrooms—a double and a single—sharing one shower room. The ground floor holds a living and dining area with a wood burner, television and games, plus a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking with an electric range, dishwasher and washing machine in an external utility room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with fuel for the burner. A welcome pack arrives on your first visit.
The location works well for exploring the fells and coast. Coniston's climbing and water sports are accessible, as are several cycle paths and the Cumbrian Way. The pub and a restaurant are within walking distance, and the nearest shop is about two miles away. The property has open stairs and five steps in the garden.

What a fantastic cottage. Had a lovely week here, perfectly based for the lakes and coastal. Cottage had everything we needed really like home from home, plus lots of extras, Wii, streaming, pub 5 metres away!! Newly decorated, suntrap garden, just perfect. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.
