Had a recent 4 night stay at this site. OMG we loved it! Pitches were clean and tidy, well looked after. We opted to pay the £3 a day for electric in advance and had no issues. Walks were beautiful, 25 mins walk along the beach into Weston Super Mare. Uphill beach is dog friendly all year round. Plenty on offer around the site, always busy cafe just outside and two really nice pubs within 5 min walk. Shower blocks were always clean, water temp was spot on! Enjoyed watching the rock climbers over the weekend. The only thing I would say is that the lake is hard to enter if you want to swim, could do with some steps for easy access. Other than that, I can't fault the site. Owners were very helpful and always on hand. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!!!!

Booked on site for 4 days ,never recieved gate code, we were not the only one with this issue. Comfusion over pitches as we had booked a extra night, was told the pjtch we were on( on secondnight) was full but it was actually not. We saw people being turned away saying it was full when it was not. The pitch we were first on you payextra for lake view however we couldnt see anything. Showers although nice had no ventilation, and by mid afternoon no loo roll. Spoje to other guest which were also shocked by the disorganisation of how ithe site was run. There needs to be alot of changes, it could be the most amazing site, but the staff (although lovely) have no idea about customer service, doing the weeding around peoples van ,same with stimmimg.is really not exceptable.

The female site manager did not explain bookings and late stays with transparency, I booked a late stay and was then told to leave my pitch by the normal leaving time and that late stay was as only as unit parking on the carpark for a car/unit parking space! The electric failed on the pitch after a few nights and I was accused of over load, it transpired it was not my unit that was an issue and I still have not received the promised refund and my fridge got turned off several times ruining food. I had booked 2 more pitches for friends and was messed around on the agreement as to stay duration despite the site on the whole having many pitches unoccupied . There was a robot lawn mower constantly going in front of my pitch , which was noisy and actually did not cut the grass, this frightened my dog and was not relaxing due to noise of the device . There was dog faeces on the pitch my friend was allocated to when they went to park up . Despite there being several individual toliet / shower pods they were all completely closed for an hour for cleaning rather than one by one . Whilst the location and facilities were appealing , the very poor attitude of the female site manager really spoiled our stay and I shall not stay . It is such a shame as the location is lovely .

A hidden gem of a site. Great communication and then a friendly welcome on arrival. Very secure and private site. Beautiful pitches overlooking the lake and the church on the hill. Facilties were modern and clean, with really nice and private toilet/shower rooms. 2 pubs nearby and a 2mile walk along the beach to Weston-super-Mare. Will definitely come back
