About Best Western Weymouth Hotel Rembrandt
Rooms at the Best Western Weymouth Hotel Rembrandt come en-suite, with family and accessible options available across the hotel's three floors, and a lift for those who'd rather skip the stairs. Some rooms have been reported as showing their age, so it's worth knowing the standard can vary, but the basics of a comfortable stay are all in place, and packed lunches can be arranged for guests heading out for the day.
Beyond the bedrooms, there's an indoor pool, gym and spa with sauna to make use of during a stay, along with a restaurant and bar. The Sunday carvery draws particular praise, with a generous spread of meats and vegetables, and staff are consistently described as friendly and professional. The hotel also has meeting rooms and business facilities, making it a workable base for events or weddings, and free on-site parking is provided for those arriving by car.
The setting puts guests within reach of Weymouth Beach and Nothe Fort, with coastal walks along the Jurassic Coast on the doorstep. Cycling routes, watersports, fishing and golf are all nearby, along with pubs and restaurants for evenings out, making it a practical spot for exploring this stretch of the Dorset coast.

What guests say
The hotel is only a 5-10 min walk from the seafront, and to the promenade is probably 20 mins. My room had AC which was nice, and it was clean enough, though a little tired. The public areas are all clean and well presented. There is parking on site but many of the spaces are too small for purpose, and they don't police visitor parking so a lot of people had parked badly and taken up 2 spaces. Breakfast was awful, don't bother with it, cheap low quality ingredients. Overall I personally wouldn't stay here again, but as mentioned above it does have some merits to it, and whilst I wouldn't recommend it, I wouldn't say don't go as it's ok, fine for a place to sleep in a fairly convenient location to the sea.

The location is excellent only a 10 minute walk from the beach. The pool was great and kept our son entertained everyday. Claire on reception made our check in pleasant & efficient. Lily in the bar was an absolute joy, she went above & beyond to be helpful & it was lovely to see someone who was happy to help with a great attitude and temperament. Overall the family room was spacious and clean & the rest of the staff were cheerful. Two minor criticisms, the Internet dropped out numerous times throughout our stay, however I didn't say anything so cannot comment on wether that could've been fixed, and the breakfast was only OK, either the price of it needs to come down or the quality needs to come up for the price as you can get a decent breakfast out for less. Overall though it was a lovely stay with excellent facilities and great staff.

The stairwells smell damp and are desperate for new carpet and a clean/paint. The telly was thick with dust, a towel had a long black hair on it, and the bath was grimy and hadn’t had a proper clean; more likely just a wipe over so it looked clean. I wiped out the dirt but it didn’t feel pleasant bathing in it. Lovely staff, and I would stay again, but they do need to do a lot better with cleanliness.
