About Bybrook Alpacas
On the edge of the Preseli Mountains, Bybrook Alpacas offers glorious views across animal paddocks and into the valley beyond – a cosy, peaceful Carmarthenshire retreat surrounded by lush green countryside. The big draw is the tranquillity (and, naturally, the resident alpacas, Shetland ponies and sheep), though there's plenty nearby to keep families entertained, from tackling the Preseli hills on foot or bike to adventure parks within easy reach. Whitland and Narberth, with their pubs, restaurants and shops, are both about fifteen minutes by car.
A short wander from the farm leads into surrounding woodlands where a small stream meanders through – perfect for kids to explore. Come evening, fire up the barbecue, light the log fire and settle in at the picnic table with good food and drink. Facilities include a toilet, shower and kitchenette stocked with microwave, kettle, fridge and all the cookware you'll need, plus mains electricity and a heater in the pod when the weather turns.

What visitors say
Amazing beautiful peaceful perfect weekend get away! We picked this place because it seemed like good value, but as soon as we arrived we knew it was special. In a very peaceful location, surrounded by the animals, yet with our own kitchenette, toilet and bbq. Hospitality was also amazing, we got a nice tour of the farm and fed some Alpacas! An unexpected treat for our last minute getaway. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

Malcolm was a lovely, friendly host - the supply of firewood and fresh eggs was great! The facilities were excellent; cosy sleeping pod and clean kitchen/bathroom area. Waking up to the animals every morning was brilliant and it was so much fun to be able to feed them! Everything we wanted to do was within easy driving distance. Will absolutely stay here again!

Great weekend stay here. Nice quiet sleeping pod surrounded by sheep, horses and alpacas. Decent location too - we visited the Marloes, Tenby, Pembroke, Ffynone waterfall all easily from here with about a 30-45 minute drive

We have had a lovely few days in this peacefull beautifull pod in the countryside. We are a family of 4 with 3 small dogs. The pod is spacious lovely and clean warm and cosey. There's a toilet shower and sink with kitchen utensils and dishes etc. Toilet roll + washing up liquid. The kitchen + shower room both have lighting as does the pod. There is a power point in the pod for charging phones etc. No toaster microwave or kettle but a kettle to put on the fire. We don't drink tea or coffee so didnt bother us. In the night we toasted marshmallows + toast on the fire. Our 2 young boys loved it. The feild around the pod has plenty of space to play + with alpacas + horses also around it which were all very friendly. We loved walking through the feild with the alpacas. This place is beautiful we have stayed in other pods but they don't compare to this 1. We had the place all to ourselves. Malcolm the owner greeted us on arrival + was very friendly + helpfull..The owner + family live in the property at the top of the feild so not too far away if needed. This place is a little gem. We can't wait to come back. Only about 30mins from Tenby. Nearest town Narberth. We travelled to Narberth tenby saundersfoot pendine amroth + laughrne. All beautifull places. Thankyou so much Malcolm for leaving us share this beautiful experience. Hope to see you next year. From the Long family 😊
