What visitors say
The park itself is large and has plenty of space for tents, caravans, and has tons of statics available. My family stayed in a static and it was a great, clean large enough and with plenty of amenities, though above the normal amount of parks which was great for kids. The park itself had the standard fare for what you'd expect for entertainment and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a bit less commercialised than other seaside towns with fewer attractions and a smaller size than other sites. This isn't a detractor as its quieter and the beaches aren't as crowded all the time. Id highly recommend.

A smaller caravan park on the East coast. Although smaller it's got all the amenities of the larger park's. But not quite so much invested in them. The team was excellent and professional, our caravan was modern and well appointed, all the usual stuff hot and cold water, large cooker, all the pots, pans and cutlery you would need. Central heating, shower, extra bedding and best of all for my wife a large fridge/freezer. Led TV. Etc. we were quite impressed with withernsea it self, we would certainly go back .........😄

Lovely clean caravan on arrival which was perfectly positioned with sunshine at dawn and sunset... a shame there were only three chairs on the decking (for an 8 berth caravan) I asked at reception if it would be possible to obtain atleast one more chair to be told that this was not possible and that there was nothing that they could do as they buy them in bulk. I was advised by the manager on duty for us to use chairs from the dining table inside and take them on the decking. I responded that I thought this would not be possible due to safety reasons. On returning to the caravan later there were three extra dining chairs on the decking. I informed Parkdean via telephone that I felt that these chairs were not safe to be used on the decking , especially by the children, as they: a) Became very hot in the sun b) Had no "arms" c) Were extremely slippy on the decking surface. The beach is a short 10 minute walk from the site though there are a lot of steep steps to reach it..not ideal with any mobility issues, small children or a pushchair. The site has a small, well equipped shop on site though the person on duty was quite rude on our entering, telling us "You've got five minutes and I'm closing!" I totally appreciate that said person may have been well ready to finish their shift but there are certainly better ways to approach customers. I mentioned that it may be helpful for all if there was an opening times sign near the entrance to which I was told "Don't tell me!". I felt that overall the site would benefit from extra staff, improved cleaning logging, better entertainment (even at a cost to the holidaymaker) and better WiFi as at times it was quite intermittent. Lovely friendly, helpful staff especially in the restaurant and swimming areas.

Uneven tent pitch, paid for a 10x8 and got given a smaller 10x6 (we have an 8x4.7 tent and it only just fit, so was definitely smaller) next to the main road when we have toddlers. Constant smell of someone smoking cannabis, we complained and the guy fobbed us off saying the person had 'applied for a weed prescription' not good enough being next to the kids park. Booked on for 10 days, came home after 7. The pitch was terribly uneven. We kept rolling off our beds. Over priced pizza (£18) was awful and cold. Swimming was constantly booked up and had no showers in it. The shower block was small and over crowed, 2 loo's and 2 showers so was always full and the urinals smelled of fish constantly. Took them two days to refil toilet rolls, luckily we brought some. A stolen scooter kept going round after midnight beeping and shouting 'wakey wakey'. The price we paid, we expected a lot better. Told we couldnt have fires, looked down the field and saw 5 fires. Definitely 100% won't be going back there. If youre reading this review, it is honest and truthful. Please consider other sites. This place isnt good. 1* only because we cant give 0*
