What visitors say
Visit 28/6 The ladies on the reception were lovely and helpful. The changing rooms are currently being refurbished. The one I used had chewing gum stuck to the walls and hair and dirt all over the floor. Had been warned prior to going that the water is meant to be really cold but couldn't say it was too bad. None of the pools are connected so have to get out to move between them. There isnt a lot of swimming space for none swimmers or kids with floatation jackets. The rapids are dirty. A lot of hair floating in the pool and plasters swimming past you. There was an awful lot of people for the space and felt very cramped. The jacuzzi was lovely and warm but massively over crowded. If you are to go, take flip flops for moving around the pool and changing room areas cause my lasting memory of the place is the filthy floor.

I’m a member here and really enjoy it! They often have great deals on joining, including a fantastic offer for carers. As a regular swimmer, I find the pool is a great size and usually a good temperature for laps. While the changing rooms could use an upgrade, they are well-maintained with plenty of lockers and free hairdryers. The group classes are the highlight for me—there’s a huge variety, and the instructors are encouraging and knowledgeable. I especially love BodyPump, Shapes, Balance, and RPM/Spin! Overall, it's a very welcoming environment with friendly staff and members."

Not value for money. Wouldn't bring babies. Run down and filthy. We visited today on Easter Sunday and with it being a bank holiday weekend we thought it would be busy. To our surprise it wasn't that busy - and we can see why. The pools were uncomfortably cold, even the baby pool which is so disappointing. It meant our baby could only tolerate a very small time before she was shivering and we had to take her out. Given the steep cost for adult entry it seemed a waste of our time and money. The place seems run down, filthy, and most of the changing room is out of order. Showers are a trickle and full of hair and generally dirty. There were a group of kids persistently messing around and being told off but yet never told to leave. Their boisterous and dangerous behaviour also ruined our experience. There was some strange routine of closing the lazy river whilst opening the slides. When people pay the price they do to use the facilities it's very poor that you can't use half of what's there. Some lifeguards were allowing pushing in the queue for the slide as they clearly knew these people on a personal level. Really unprofessional and added to the misbehaviour of these kids. We used to come here a lot as teenagers and I can't believe how over the course of a few years this place has turned into such a run down, disappointing day out. We will sadly not be returning. It is far too expensive to be entering for about 10 minutes due to a cold baby pool and then not having access to all parts makes it such a waste of time. Such a huge shame.

Pool is fine, slide is great. But 1 star for the changing rooms. They're disgusting, thick with dirt and grime, there are marks on every changing room surface. The floors are vile, it made me feel ill and unclean walking on them. Showers are weak and rubbish. The floors in the pool area were much better, but again these don't appear to have been cleaned recently either. I am paranoid my kids will get verrucas soon. Seriously, gross.

People say this swimming pool offers a great size for laps, a flume, a lazy river, and two teaching pools, with a comfortable water temperature. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, and the variety of enjoyable fitness classes.
Some reviews mention the changing rooms can be neglected.
