You'll be needing them, as this peaceful pop-up site sits in the quiet North Wales village of Hanmer, which edges a large lake known as Hanmer Mere – a mighty popular spot with open-water swimmers. Covering 2.5 acres across two fields (one for tents and tourers, one for off-grid camping), the site is sheltered by trees on two sides and accessed down a farm track. Groups are welcome to pitch up together on the perfectly level camping field for an alfresco family adventure.
It's a cinch to access safe, quiet lanes for cycling or hiking down to the mere (five minutes by bike or 15 minutes on foot). After a refreshing dip, head to the local village pub for a rejuvenating pint. Back on site, simple facilities include washing-up areas, a shared fridge, and a covered communal eating area for catching up with family and new-found friends. There's an ensuite facility housed in a horse trailer with compost toilet, hand-washing basin and gas shower – one of three showers across the site.

Absolutely outstanding! We recently stayed at Moss Bank Farm Holiday Accommodation and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Nothing is too much trouble, and they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. If you’re looking for luxury accommodation with a personal touch, this is it. We had an amazing stay at Amy’s and Shaun’s Moss Bank Farm and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The games room was a brilliant addition and kept everyone entertained, while the hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a days work. Amy and Shaun are wonderful hosts: friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The peaceful setting was beautiful, and it was clear how much care and attention has gone into making Moss Bank Farm such a fantastic place to stay. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Moss Bank Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape. Thank you, Amy and Shaun—we’ll definitely be back!

What a fantastic place to stay, tucked away on the outskirts of Wrexham approximately 2 miles from the Town Centre. Amy and Shaun are fantastic hosts and keep the accommodation in excellent condition, perfect for a family get together or break. Also ideal for contractors who are working in the area it’s great value for money. We thoroughly recommend Moss Bank Farm.
