Windfall Cottage is a detached house near Tewkesbury, built with green oak frames and finished in natural stone and limestone. The ground floor opens directly into a living room with a woodburner and bi-folding doors onto the patio, where an electric Aga sits in the adjoining kitchen. A separate toilet is also on this level. Upstairs, all three bedrooms are kingsize and each has an ensuite: one with a roll-top bath only, one with a roll-top bath and shower over, and one with both a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Smart TVs are in every bedroom. The house sleeps six and comes with bed linen, towels, wifi and heating included; there is parking for three cars on site.
The setting is countryside with views over an adjoining orchard where the owner keeps ducks and chickens, and seasonal fruit is available to guests. The enclosed garden has a patio, seating, a BBQ and firepit. A cot and two stairgates are provided. The property does not permit smoking. It is near the Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, and suitable for families or groups of up to six adults.

Windfall cottage is a beautiful property in a fabulous location. We stayed there for a weekend in February 24. The cottage was cosy and warm just what you needed in February. The kitchen is well equipped, and we loved cooking breakfast on the aga. Our favourite room was the lounge with its large window overlooking the orchard and log burner. Simply perfect. We’re already envisioning a return during the summer months to make use of the outdoor space. I would highly recommend a stay at Windfall cottage.
