About Parva Farmhouse

Parva Farmhouse is a 17th-century stone building in Tintern, close enough to the Abbey ruins to reach on foot, with a restaurant built around an original inglenook fireplace and a cooking style that mixes modern British ingredients with a French influence.

Seven guest rooms, a mix of doubles and twins, are comfortably furnished, with some overlooking the River Wye directly below the village. A full cooked breakfast is included, and evening meals are served Wednesday to Saturday, with an honesty bar available the rest of the time.

The B&B has been recognised in the Michelin guide and named among the Guardian's best UK hotels and B&Bs, and its position in Tintern makes it a natural choice for anyone visiting the abbey and the lower gorge rather than the towns further north.

Staff was super nice and friendly. We had breakfest. Was good, I tried my first blood pudding i think it was. The flavour was good, but I think the texture is somthing i would need to warm up too. I reckon as far as blood pudding goes it was probably really good and I was glad I got to try it there. The bed was the best mattress I had layed on since arriving in the uk and i needed that. We had a nice view with a sitting chairs at the window and we could watch wildlife in the field across the river. Unfortunately we were there in the shoulder season so they were not open for dinner and maybe it was just Monday.... Mondays there's only one option to eat at opposite side of town but it's not to far of a walk. This country has notoriously bad water pressure and this place is not an exception.

We had a fantastic Easter stay at Parva farmhouse. Marta and Roger were welcoming. The rooms were lovely and modern, clean and the bed comfortable and large. The breakfast delicious. The dinner Michelin star equivalent. Loved being able to hike from the hotel. Would stay again for sure.

Parva Farmhouse is a fantastic place, we have been for the weekend and it is located near Tintern Abbey and Whitestone. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, breakfast is absolutely wonderful. We had dinner on Saturday and the food is simply amazing, I wish there was a place like this closer to my town. Well done Marta and Roger!

What can I say what a place !!! From the moment we arrived Marta was amazing. Very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We got to the room after a long drive to the awful rain and the room was amazing. We then ate in the restaurant in the evening and we have travelled around the UK visiting nice restaurants. The food was outstanding and up there with some of the best I have ever eaten. Every dish was presented and tasted amazing and we would definitely come back again to try a new menu. We had an amazing sleep and the bed was to die for. As we arrived when it was dark we had a lovely surprise when we opened the blind in the morning as the view was spectacular. The breakfast is also very nice with a good selection, and you can tell it’s freshly sourced and local produce. Many thanks for an amazing stay Marta we will definitely be returning in a staying competency and we would even drive an hour and 15 minutes just to eat at the restaurant.
