What visitors say
Lovely mini farm and lake. Despite the soft play area for under 3’s its didnt feel safe for under 1s crawling. Busy and chaotic!

We went for a morning out here with the our daughter, her partner and our youngest grandson... Spent our time walking round the animal farm and also walked around the lakes... We all had an enjoyable time and stayed for lunch in the café which was quite reasonably priced...

Not a great experience unfortunately. Firstly, its free for under 1s, but then the price jumps up massively as soon as they turn 1. I took my child who is 1.5 years old and I think the park is still too grown up for her to really enjoy. They say it's a farm but really there isn't that many animals. Its more other stuff, the parks are okay, but then if you want to do anything when you're outside, you have to pay more, pay for boat ride, pay to use the machines (which were empty because no one was on them!) I already paid £20 for myself and my 1.5 year old (who could barely do anything anyway!) and then you want to charge to do anything additional once you get in! Then of course you have the soft play, which I didn't do - but if you want that then you have to pay separate as well. Very moneymaking this place and less about enjoyment. I would probably not come back, unless they change the structure (even rise the entrance fee and make it free inside) or reduce the costs for younger children who realistically can't do that much.

I have been coming to Jake’s for over 10 years now my last visit was a couple of years ago so today we went to explore Jake’s again, we went to the indoor play area first and it never fails to excite children of all ages there is so much to do in one lay area, there’s lots of levels and even a mini football kicking part. The under 3’s is honestly the best. So much for them to explore definitely worth a visit just for the soft play, staff are all welcoming and will answer any questions you have. It’s so thought of with the layout that u don’t get bored. Then we went outside after the play area and WOW what a change, it’s so beautiful. So easy to walk around and so open. The animals are loved as they are so friendly, and you get to be so close to them, we also got some food for them and what a great experience that was. They give the children a stamp map of 6 different animals and stamps to collect whilst walking round which my child enjoyed a lot. They also have a new lake where you are able to hire a boat it looked so good we will be doing that next time for sure. Whilst we were there my child also got to enjoy feeding the chickens and the fish which she enjoyed a lot. There are so many different picnic spots and benches which are shaded also, there’s lots of play area parks also jotted round the park. It’s a brilliant day out with little ones. I also loved the fact that they have toilets now in the farm which are easy and close to everything. Great upgrade. My only disappointment was the pony’s there are two and they look to be in a very small area with only there feed balls as stimulation which was a bit sad to see but hopefully they will get a upgrade this year maybe.
