The Mews is laid out across two distinct sections connected by a central living and cooking area. One side contains bedrooms one and two (the second accessed through the first), making that wing ideal for families; the other holds bedrooms three and four separately. This split means two staircases serve the property, letting different groups have their own routes upstairs. Downstairs, the dining room accommodates eight, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and a woodburner warms the ground floor on chilly days. There are two bathrooms across the property—one on the ground floor, one upstairs—along with a shower room.
You get the run of 27 acres of grounds that include a walled garden, paddock and woodland to explore. The hot tub is private to the house. Parking for three cars sits on site. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; in winter, fuel for the woodburner is provided. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property is in Aberdeenshire near Insch, and sits as part of a historic estate dating to 1687, though the mews building itself was added in 1842. Couples and family groups only, please.
