Aberporth Beach

One of our favorate campsites throughout our tour of Wales. We were a bit apprehensive about the toilets and showers but they are great. The rain shower is hot and there is no timed push button and there is plenty of hot water. The closest experience I've had to showering outside! Loved it. The outside washing area is nice too with two Belfast sinks and a standard wash hand basin. All with a welcome jug of fresh flowers which brought a smile to my face. The pitches have a fantastic view of the sea and sunsets. We were lucky enough to see dolphins in the sea from the campsite, brilliant. The site is located between Aberporth and Tresaith with good coastal paths to both areas and beaches. Both areas have cafés and pubs for drinks and meals. We will definitely stay at the campsite again when we visit Wales. The cost for the stay at £25 per night is very reasonable and being allowed to pitch wherever you want on the site is great too. Very spacious, we were informed that they restrict the pitch numbers so the site does not become overcrowded. The owner is very friendly visits everyone to make sure alls well. We extended out stay from two nights to six and enjoyed every minute. Again brilliant.

A little gem of a campsite nestled between the beautiful bays of Aberporth and Tresaith. We were there mid June 2026. Lovely coastal walk to both. Gorgeous sea views from the campsite and perfect for our spaniel. Levellers would be handy to have on this site when busy but we managed to find a spot where not necessary. Only a few hard-standing pitches. No electric hookup. Only cold water for washing dishes. The showers look rustic but it was actually a really decent shower. Although due to the openness to the elements only the bravest would attempt them in cooler conditions. We wished we’d had another couple of days there to properly explore the area, swim in the sea and hire out some kayaks.

Lovely friendly campsite. About a 20 minute walk to Aberporth or 30 ish minutes to Tresaith beach..Shower was amazing, lots of space to get changed. Fabulous views of the nearby cliffs, stunning sunset. The tiny thing which is not this campsites fault, is the static caravan park down the hill has some very bright led lights which meant the night sky was not as dark as I'd hoped for stargazing. I will go back when Im in the area

Great find, very quiet when we visited last week. Really well looked after field and facilities block, 2 toilets, 2 hot showers, washing up sink, hand wash sink. Friendly owner. Fab location for walks to Aberporth and Tresaith. Reasonable price per night (no electric). Very relaxed feel and when not busy the check in / check out times are flexible too, which is a definite plus considering how close you are to the beaches. Will definitely be back.
