This review is for the bunkhouse. I hate to leave a bad review but this was really in no way up to standard. I booked for 6 nights but ended up leaving after two. The bunkhouse had an unpleasant, musty smell which wouldn't go away even with windows open the whole time. Kitchen needs a fan, as underneath the cupboards where the stove is, have gone bad because of the damp. There were bedsheets on the beds, but honestly I was unsure when they'd been switched out last. They also smelt musty. Toilets and showers not appealing. Owner wasn't onsite while I was there, and it didn't seem like anyone was coming in regularly to clean. Keep in mind toilets and showers are also used by anyone staying on the campsite... It's a shame because the village of Llangian and its surroundings are peaceful, and the bunkhouse is in a great idyllic setting. But it's just a turn off when it seems like the place isn't kept properly.

This was the only campsite I could get over bank holiday. After seeing the facilities I went back home. One ladies toilet for the whole site! with 2 big fields plus extra rooms in the bunkhouse. 2 ladies showers. The toilet block was accessed down a lane this was a trek and would not be good in the dark if you wanted to use toilet in night. Would feel unsafe going down a remote lane. Would not return.

Stopped there for 2 nights last weekend and it is a lovely site nestling in a valley between rolling hills. The site had good washblock, excellent warm showers and a village shop right near the site. It was peaceful and very scenic. Would definately camp here in the future. The owners were away the weekend we camped there, but the farmer and his wife/girlfriend were very helpful, chatty and welcoming.

Just returned today from 4 nights camping. Our 2nd visit this year! Lovely location. Very peaceful. Good facilities. We had electric hook up. Little shop also fab and they sell all you need! Recommend.
