About Dog House by Chef & Brewer Collection

Dog House by Chef & Brewer Collection suits those road-tripping between the Cotswolds and the North Wessex Downs who want a straightforward, comfortable stopover rather than a destination in itself. It works equally well for a golfing weekend, a fishing trip, or simply a night's rest with free on-site parking and 24 hour reception. Across its two floors are 20 en-suite rooms, including family and accessible options, all with the basics covered by free WiFi, room service and in-room drinks.

The heart of the place is its restaurant and bar, serving food alongside breakfast each morning, with outdoor seating in the garden for warmer days and an indoor swimming pool for guests who want to unwind without leaving the grounds. Meeting rooms are also available, making it a practical choice for those combining business with a short break.

Set on Faringdon Road in Abingdon, the hotel is close to further pubs, bars and restaurants, with entertainment options nearby too. Its position between two well-loved stretches of countryside makes it a sensible base for exploring on foot or by car, without committing to a long drive at either end of the day.
