There is no campsite within Aldeburgh itself, but the surrounding Suffolk Sandlings and Alde valley offer a handful of well-regarded touring, camping and glamping sites within a short drive of the town, set among heathland, farmland and forestry that give a real sense of this quiet corner of the county. Several sites make the most of the area's dark skies and birdlife, with pitches backing onto woodland or open fields rather than housing estates, and many are geared towards exactly the kind of unhurried, coast-and-countryside stay that draws people to Aldeburgh in the first place.

Facilities vary from simple, back-to-basics touring pitches to family-friendly parks with shops, play areas and heated shower blocks, so there is a reasonable spread of options whether the plan is a rustic weekend under canvas or a more comfortable stay in a caravan or glamping pod. All of the sites below are within about fifteen miles of Aldeburgh, making them a practical base for exploring the town, Snape Maltings, Minsmere and the wider Suffolk coast, while keeping costs well below those of a seafront hotel room.
