About The Brudenell Hotel
The Brudenell occupies one of the best positions in Aldeburgh, right on the seafront at the southern, quieter end of town where the beach stretches away towards the river mouth. Its rooms are decorated in a clean, contemporary style rather than the fussier period look found elsewhere in the town, and many look directly out over the shingle and the sea.
Downstairs, the hotel's restaurant and bar make the most of the same views, serving a menu built around Suffolk produce and the day's catch, and both locals and guests treat it as a destination in its own right rather than simply a hotel dining room.
It is a short, level walk along the front to the Moot Hall, the fish stalls and the High Street, making the Brudenell a practical as well as a comfortable base for exploring the town on foot.

Stayed here for 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our room was spacious and clean. And the hotel location is fantastic! Breakfast (with service) was great and you get a great view out to sea from the restaurant. One evening we had a meal in the restaurant and that was top notch. Special mention to all the staff we came across as they were all super friendly and very helpful.

Hot water was broken in the room & not relaired after reported. Decor was very dated. Bed was tiny (queen sized) for a double room. The breakfast / food were a saving point but suggest the overall rating for the hotel be decreased to 3*. Would recommend booking air bnb / another hotel for the price point.

We were lucky to get the last 2 rooms on a late booking bank holiday weekend. Even though the hotel could do with a little updating it was still lovely and the location is unbeatable. Right on the seafront of an unspoilt seaside town. Staff were very friendly and added to the experience.

Perfect location right on the seafront. Room was lovely as was the sea view. Very clean Restaurant provided great service with good quality and fair price meals. We will be back
