What guests say
Stayed at this hotel because it was so close to the airport and had great facilities. The rooms were clean and really comfortable. We were greeted by Beth, who was lovely. She helped me and my partner with everything we needed, answered all our questions, and made us feel really welcome. It was genuinely some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Beth was so attentive, and all of the other staff were friendly and helpful too. Would definitely stay here again! As someone who works in the hospitality industry good customer service matters and was definitely given.

I stayed at this hotel on Saturday, 18th July, and as a Platinum Elite Marriott Bonvoy member, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome by Beth at check-in. She was friendly, professional, and highly efficient. There was a slight issue with my booking, but Beth handled it with complete professionalism and resolved everything quickly, making the whole process seamless. I also had the pleasure of using the Executive Lounge, where Oliver and Jacqueline were exceptional. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely customer-focused, ensuring every guest felt welcome and well looked after. Their dedication to providing outstanding service really stood out and made the lounge a pleasure to visit. The room was spotless, the restaurant was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. It’s the people who make a hotel truly memorable, and the team here did exactly that. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

As an American travelling here for a one year stay in the country, the people saying this is a 1/2/3 star hotel must be sad, nasty, and completely out of touch people. It is a fully remodeled historic hotel, it has a garden level, not a basement, with rooms. Yes, it is maze like and there are signs at every intersection, but if you ask for a paper map, on which they mark your room, you discover that the hotel is 3 connected rings with beautiful terraces and loungers in the middle of each. You can even stroll under the original outdoor hallways and view the now bolted and sealed hardwood doors and brass doorknobs, and appreciate the original red brick work and wrought iron. Or perhaps there is not enough LED lighting and plastic chandeliers out there for you. Front desk staff is EXTREMELY HELPFUL WHEN CONTACTED as many people here are complaining that they did not contact staff or attempted to use an app or emailed/ called a corporate inbox during their stay and are upset they did not get their problem fixed. Cars: There is an on-site Hertz return and rental which is convenient. I drive a Ford truck so parking my Peugeot was easy. 16 pounds per car per night is outlined on every lamp post in the parking lot, which I think is fair for a city that taxes it own citizens out of owning cars and has public transport on these things called busses. They are like limousines that you share with other people. You could also call the front desk staff, or if that is not worth your time, you can get your personal assistant to do it for you, after you make your reservation online to enquire about all fees, especially parking fees. Rooms: Central heating and air with flatscreen smart TVs from, egads, 7 years ago, desk with stylish lamp and chair, double paned sliding windows, clean linens, choice of feather or foam pillows, a round table with floor lamp and swiveling chair. Lace doilies provided under each glass cup. A kettle heats up your tea and cup ramen, which is a food that poor people can eat when the two onsite restaurants, bar, executive lounge, convenience store, and several vending machines onsite are not meeting their exacting standards. Bathrooms: Yes, in fact, people have used these bathrooms before you arrived. Their stuff may have stunk, but the staff does an incredible job of washing that away and making room for your stuff which smells like roses. The soaps provided are in plastic bottles on the wall, not glass, and they are free but are still of very high quality. Children: I wish this hotel could not allow children, but I myself have one or two so I can see why they still allow them. They are not allowed in the spa, pool, or sports area after 8pm but unfortunately that is past my bedtime so I was not able to take advantage of the time in which I could continue to believe that I was never a young child on a wonderful holiday, so I just did that during daytime hours. Spa: They have a Four Seasons Spa on site but I really wish it was a Five Seasons Spa. That would be 1 season better. Pets: I was traveling with my two cats, PomPom PooPurrie and Dubai Chocolate who really enjoyed the windows, which I never looked out of, and we had plenty of room to set up their barbie dream houses in the room and their special beach sand box in the bathroom. The staff members asked if my cats were enjoying the room before they even asked me if I was enjoying the room to which I answered "meow". Executive Lounge: Every time I walked by this sound proofed and sealed room, I looked at the stock tickers but then I noticed there were too many other executives, people who I do not like to associate with, so I did not enter. Restaurants: I only ate at the French restaurant, as I felt like lunch provided me with just the right amount of attention and food I was looking for on the first day. On the second day for breakfast I was alarmed to find that I would be serving myself. I at least I didn't have to touch my own dirty plate after I ate off it it and staff took it away. Thank you especially to Serena, Jake, and Mervin!

Lovely stay in a nice hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Particularly the staff in the Exec lounge and Selam offered to help me. Kids are very happy here with the food and pool. If you have time I would recommend a visit to The Runway to see Concorde. Only 5 mins from the hotel by car and a unique experience, especially when the Emirates flight lands.
