Amberley Cottage comes ready for a self-catering break with essentials taken care of: electricity, gas heating, bed linen and towels are all included, along with Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge-freezer, so you can prepare proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and two singles—served by a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The living room has a smart TV, and there's a dining room for gathering round a table.

An enclosed, lawned garden with patio and furniture provides outdoor space, and parking for two cars is available. One pet stays free of charge. The cottage sits on a terrace in central Alfreton, within a few minutes' walk of shops, a pub and restaurants. A local leisure centre offers a gym, swimming pool and indoor bowls. The Peak District's major attractions—Chatsworth, the Tramway Village at Crich, Butterley Railway Museum and Heights of Abraham—are a short drive away, as are countless walks and cycle routes. The property is not a smoking environment.
