The Limes

The Limes is a Victorian property from 1860 that works well for larger groups, extended families or friends gathering for a holiday. Six bedrooms across three floors provide space for up to 14 guests, each with its own ensuite or bathroom. The ground floor holds two living areas – one with a TV and electric fire, one as a conservatory – plus a kitchen with full cooking facilities including a dishwasher and American fridge freezer, and a separate dining room. Everything you need for a self-catering stay is here, from bed linen and towels to Wi-Fi throughout.

What sets The Limes apart is the shared games room, which features a full-size snooker table and table football. Outside, a patio and sitting area come with garden furniture and a BBQ. The property is within a mile of a pub and sits in countryside that opens toward Butterley Reservoir and Pentrich. Amber Valley itself is well positioned for exploring the Peak District, with factory shops including Denby Potteries and Royal Crown Derby nearby, plus regular markets in Bakewell and Ashbourne. Alton Towers is accessible for a day out. A cot and highchair are available if needed. Parking is ample and on-site. No smoking throughout.
