What visitors say
Just got back home from a 2 night stay here and wow what can I say, it was absolutely fantastic. Everything about the stay was exactly what we wanted for a 2 night escape from reality. The location was spot on, it was quiet and extremely well maintained. We stayed in one of the kabinas and it was perfect. It was lovely and clean and very well looked after. Everything you needed was inside the kabina, the hot tub was fantastic and secluded so you could relax and unwind. The pizza shack was definitely one of the highlights of the stay, its very rare you get such good quality food when staying on sites like this. The pizza was amazing, the sort of pizza you would pay £15-£20 for in big chain restaurants for half of that price. It was genuinely one of the best tasting pizzas we have ever had. The staff we encountered whilst we were there were fantastic and very friendly too. Overall, this place was fantastic and we didn't want to go home. I can almost guarantee that we will return in the future. If you have been looking into this place then book it. It definitely won't disappoint you.

Absolutely beautiful place. We just did the NC500 and stayed at several camp sites and this was our favourite. The place was so calm, relaxing, toys for the kids. Facilities were great. Barney was a great host. Highly recommend visiting baxby manor

A great campsite, really well located, with wonderful staff and superb and very clean facilities. We loved our stay and will be returning in the future. We camped but the site also has a selection of glamping options which looked brilliant. Baxby Manor was a great base for us to explore market towns, York and Botton Village.

Nice quiet campsite, bonus bbqs and fires allowed (fire pits on every pitch). Toilet and shower blocks really clean and warm, drying room is there also. Pizza shack pizzas are delicious and theres a shop onsite sells abit of everything. Would definetly stay again. Beware the husthwaite orchards apple cider its addictive 🤣.
